The Role
A high-energy, technically capable hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our iOS development team. We need a leader who remains deeply rooted in the code while navigating the complexities of people management and product delivery. You will be the bridge between ambitious product roadmaps and robust technical execution, ensuring we deliver high-quality features at pace while keeping our tech stack at the cutting edge of Apple's ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Lead development, take ownership of key product features and ensure to deliver with speed and quality.
- Own the technical roadmap, drive complex projects from architectural design to delivery. Ability to provide guidance and resolve conflicts on code reviews, architectural spikes, or tackling mission-critical bugs. You'll ensure we are early adopters of new frameworks and proactively plan upgrades to stay aligned with Apple's latest releases.
- Defining the bar for iOS talent, sourcing candidates, and building diverse, high-performing engineering teams.
- Partnering with Product Managers and Designers to define the technical feasibility of the product roadmap and help drive it.
- Help the team to prioritize and troubleshoot most challenging production issues, utilizing deep technical skills to identify and fix technical gaps and reduce defects in production.
- 5+ years of experience building iOS apps and 3+ years of software engineering management experience in an agile development
- Experience building scalable mobile architectures that handle millions of users and offline data syncing.
- Expert-level Swift and a strong working knowledge of Objective-C (for maintaining and migrating legacy modules) Deep experience with SwiftUI for modern builds and UIKit for complex, custom legacy components.
- Understanding of Async/Await and Combine for reactive programming and modern asynchronous flows. Proficiency with Xcode Instruments for memory leak detection and performance profiling.

- Base pay: $120,000 - $300,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
