Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including virtual machines and physical servers.
- Administer and support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Oversee and optimize database systems crucial for manufacturing operations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the manufacturing facility.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate IT solutions with operational technology (OT) systems.
- 3+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices and data backup/recovery solutions.
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) or SCADA.
- Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies in a production setting.
