Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Our client is seeking a skilled Java Back End Developer to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable microservices from scratch using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Work with Oracle databases, utilizing PL/SQL for batch processing and data management.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Continuously improve and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Java 17+ in developing microservices from scratch.
  • Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS EKS for deploying and managing applications.
  • Expertise in Oracle databases, with a focus on PL/SQL and batch processing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with Shell Scripting/UNIX and command-line tools.
