What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage daily operations of drill and plow crews
- Keep projects on schedule with a strong focus on production goals
- Coordinate with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Track job costs, quantities, and material usage
- Troubleshoot field issues and keep work moving efficiently
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company expectations
- Support permitting, utility locates, and project documentation
- Create and manage accurate, field-verified as-builts for all completed work
- Track footage, bores, and installs with strong attention to detail
- Submit complete and timely as-builts for billing and invoicing
- Work closely with office staff to ensure production aligns with billable quantities
- At least 1+ year managing large-scale projects
- Experience in underground utilities (fiber/telecom preferred)
- Strong knowledge of directional drilling and/or plowing operations
- Proven ability to manage crews and hit production targets
- Experience with as-builts, footage tracking, and billing documentation
- Ability to travel and stay in Gillette, WY for a long-term assignment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (project tracking, reports, email, etc.)
- $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)
