The Lead Person will assist the Department Manager of our Maintenance Department in overseeing activities on the production floor to ensure peak performance and meeting production needs. The person in this role works within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities- Coordinate all maintenance department activities to assure the meeting of production schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate all maintenance department activities to assure the meeting of cost goals and of maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinate and provide technical, quality and production leadership to team members.
- Provide leadership to continuously improve process for all assigned products/processes.
- Perform administrative duties to support the business.
- Ability to work outside the regular shift hours as needed.
- Mentor and motivate team in safety, quality and productivity improvements.
- Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
