Job Descriptions:
- In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Database Engineering.
- 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5 years of engineering experience, equivalent to a Senior Engineer

- GCP
- Teradata
- Hadoop
- Google Certification
- Current data platform built on Teradata and is moving to GCP with target date of year end. Set up environment in GCP, work with stakeholders in the Fraud and Claims Analysis group. Will support a few apps supporting Fraud. About 1,000 Terabytes of data, tables. Environment is GCP Big Query, Pyspark, Hadoop, Abinitio, Dremio, S3 storage grid.
- Ideal candidate has good experience building data pipelines, Pyspark, ETL, Hadoop, have cloud experience, preferably Google if possible.
- Have seen AI tool usage in the FTE interviewing process, please be wary to screen for that.
- Typical schedule, no assigned days in office. Only adhoc troubleshooting would require later hours.
