What does team do: **Integrating with extract application related to processing of events and sending them to downstream consumers and working closely with WI with client onboarding. Fee for service which scopes out the project. Creates project and costs it out and generates a letter and sends to client for approval. Backend mentoring functionality of the application. API Modernization project which will move from Soap to Rest and improve efficiency and modernize the platform This team manages their own deployments. Uses Open Tofu and GitHub as primary repository and then AWS. Angular is the core UI Extract events consumed and posted with Kafka

Full Stack Developer
Fidelity Investments is looking for top Java and Node engineering talent that can, via skilled development, deliver enterprise scale customer facing services. This role will play a key part in developing Fidelity's next generation of life events planning solutions.
This position is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Team
As part of the Advanced Process Solutions division within Fidelity Investments, you will join a Scrum team of 6-8 highly hardworking individuals tasked with re-imagining the customer experience and associate workflow for Fidelity. The team will be focused on developing a new microservices based platform to support life events and beneficiary qualification process. The product would be developed primarily using Java, JavaScript, Python and AWS services.
The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years Java development
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and NodeJS
• Experience with AWS and other cloud-based development methodologies / best-practices
• Proven understanding of REST concepts and developing REST APIs with Spring Boot or NodeJS
• Understanding with serverless computing and EKS based applications is a plus
• Hands on experience with: Git, Docker, Python, Shell Scripts,
• Knowledge of Cloud databases including - DynamoDB and RDS is a plus.
