ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Investment Properties Division is currently searching for a well-qualified Property / Resident (Live-In) Manager to handle the leasing, marketing, community-building, and core property management functions at a new construction, Class A property in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles (90035).
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years of previous on-site experience in the property management operations of a mixed-use, new construction (or recently built) luxury property. They must also be proficient with the leasing, marketing, maintenance, and other operational tasks typical to a high-end luxury residential community. They must possess and regularly demonstrate the following critical qualities: strong communication skills, organization, efficiency, persistence, professionalism and preparedness, to name just a few. In addition, they must at all times maintain a determined work ethic, a willingness to be “hands-on” and take the extra step, the capacity to anticipate and plan, and the ability to think critically.
The position would be based primarily from the property’s on-site office, but will also involve remotely (or WFH) monitoring resident communications and critical building activity during off-hours (as needed), as well as occasionally reporting to the corporate office in Sherman Oaks or elsewhere as is required for training and other purposes.
COMPENSATION
We are prepared to offer a competitive compensation package depending on your qualifications and experience. PLEASE NOTE: This is a resident / onsite manager position. A beautiful, brand new unit will be provided - either at a discount or entirely included - as a part of the compensation package and the the value of this housing is incorporated into the advertised compensation range.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position MUST:
Have at least 2+ years of on-site resident property manager experience (preferably at a Class A / premium / luxury multifamily residential property)
Be able to multitask a diverse array of tasks efficiently and effectively manage their time
Have strong organizational and time management skills
Be accustomed to operating independently
Communicate clearly, concisely, professionally and politely with clients, management, staff, vendors, prospects, and residents alike
Have high-level verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
Have the ability to demonstrate professionalism in all job functions
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
Have proficiency with all mainstream computer / app-based programming, particular the Google ecosystem (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.)
Have the ability to follow instructions and a willingness and drive to “take ownership” of projects and tasks that fall within the scope of the position, whether assigned or not
Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
