What You Will Learn:- Develop DevOps concepts, containerization, and related product development for our program’s new modernized platform systems using tools such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes.
- Work in an advanced product development team environment with systems and software platform engineers.
- Practice modern DevSecOps and continuous integration/deployment techniques.
- Apply software lifecycle practices for large scale defense projects.
- Explore satellite ground system technologies.
- Must be a senior or postgraduate with an expected graduation in May 2027 or August 2027 in Computer Science or related STEM majors.
- Experience in software development utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Shell (through coursework, projects, or on the job experience).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge or experience with Linux, Windows, or other operating systems at the command line interface.
- Experience with development tools such as Ansible, Chef, Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Experience with network design and architecture schemes.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Gov.
- Experience with DevSecOps toolsets as a user or implementor.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, including Agile philosophy.
- Experience with cybersecurity concepts is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD – 82000 USD, a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term and long term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive compensation programs depending on level and collective bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may also be eligible for an annual short term or long term incentive compensation program depending on level and agreement. This role is a U.S. based role; if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
