Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician to join the Surgical Services team!
Description:
The selected candidate for this position will report to the Director of Surgical Services. Primary responsibilities included ensuring knowledge and appropriate decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and equipment, and other job duties as assigned by Director within scope.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Graduate of Sterile Processing Technology Program
- BLS certification
- Certification in CBSPD, CSPDT, or CR-CST, or able to obtain within two years of employment
- Three to six months on-the-job training to become knowledgeable with instrumentation and equipment used in the department
Hours:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Must be available for call as needed on weekends and holidays. May work other hours for the effective operation of the department.
