Job Description
This a brand new position for a leading medical device organization in Burlington, Massachusetts and the Senior SQL & Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data and automation solutions that enable efficient business operations and informed decision-making. This role combines strong SQL Server expertise with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide end-to-end SQL Server support, including development, performance tuning, testing, maintenance and documentation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL solutions, including stored procedures and complex queries.
  • Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries and execution plans to improve performance, particularly for long-running processes.
  • Design and integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and Teams.
  • Implement strong data validation, transformation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of SSIS packages using SQL Server Integration Services.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Senior SQL & Power Platform Developer will have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL database development, maintenance, and programming.
  • 5+ years of experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of best practices in IT and business operations
  • Excellent communication
