Position: Part-Time Live-Out Educational Nanny (Temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent)
Schedule: 2 or 3 days per week, totaling approximately 25 hours (flexible within agreed days)
Salary: $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience

About the Family

A warm, hands-on private family in Paramus, NJ is seeking a dedicated and professional Educational Nanny to join their staffed household. This is a supportive, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on children’s development, structured routines, and respectful, values-driven parenting. Children: Two children, ages 2.5 years and 10 months
Pets: Two sweet, medium-sized dogs
Household Staff: Fully staffed household, including a full-time nanny (this role covers their days off)

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, nurturing, and consistent care for both children
  • Serve as the fill-in nanny two-three days per week when the full-time nanny is off
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans
  • Support early childhood education and milestone development
  • Research and coordinate enriching activities (e.g., local classes, library programs, swim)
  • Follow and support the family’s gentle parenting approach
  • Maintain children’s routines and structured schedules
  • Handle child-related tasks, including laundry and bottle washing

Requirements
  • Strong educational background with a focus on early childhood development
  • Prior experience in a similar private household role
  • Up-to-date on standard childhood vaccinations
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and own vehicle
  • Ability to swim
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent references
  • Legal to work in the United States
