Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and fabricate tools to meet manufacturing needs.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for tool design.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and tool efficacy.
  
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments in the tool maintenance process.
  
• Document maintenance activities and tool modifications for inventory management.
  
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
  
• Operate Wire EDM machines and ensure quality assurance through meticulous checks.
  
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards in the tool room.
  
• Engage in problem-solving activities to address any tool-related issues promptly.
  
• Train and mentor junior staff in tool room operations and safety measures.
  

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a tool room or similar manufacturing environment.
  

Desired Experience

• Experience in tool fabrication, maintenance, and modification.
  
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
  
• Hands-on experience with power tools and machining processes.
  
• Knowledge in inventory management and maintenance documentation.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and standards within a manufacturing setting.
  

Salary & Benefits

The hourly salary range for this position is $16 to $26, dependent on qualifications and experience.
