Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team at a downtown museum. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of cleaning, event setup, and general facility support in a dynamic environment.
Schedule:
- Thursday through Monday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Days off: Tuesday & Wednesday
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down for events, including moving chairs, tables, and other equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility
- Assist with snow removal during winter months
- Operate power washing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of indoor and outdoor areas
- Respond to radio communications in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work both indoors and outdoors
- Basic cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate over the radio in English
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
