Our restaurant in Queen Creek is looking for an experienced, mature, and ambitious Lead Cook to join our team and serve as the owners' right hand.

You will be leading a well-established, young, and dynamic team of 5to 6 peoples. We are located in old Queen Creek, AZ.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for more than just a cook; we are looking for a professional with a strong background in kitchen operations. You are a natural leader, digne of trust, and capable of managing a young team with maturity and efficiency. You have a "business owner" mindset—meaning you take initiative, keep a close eye on food costs, and are always looking for ways to improve the quality and flow of the restaurant. Beginners accepted if you already have restaurant experience; maturity and intelligence are the priorities for being the owner's right hand and lead the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Cook and Kitchen Leadership: Lead the line, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a young staff, ensuring a professional and positive work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage inventory, control food costs, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Business Growth: Act as the "right hand" to the owners, sharing ideas and taking initiative to help the restaurant grow and improve.
  • Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and food handling guidelines are strictly followed.
Qualifications
  • Proven professional experience in cooking or restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • High integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ambitious, creative, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Title 4 Training: Since we serve alcohol, you must have your Title 4 certification. If you do not have it yet, we will cover the cost for you to obtain it.
Hours & Benefits
  • Schedule: Shifts are typically from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will have at least 2 days off per week.
  • Weekly Pay: You are paid every week.
  • Tips: You receive cash tips daily and credit card tips weekly.
  • Meals: Enjoy a complimentary meal at the restaurant during your shift.
