About DTMB: The supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About the position: This position provides support for the DTMB Center for Shared Solutions eMichigan Bureau Content Management Services
Division on the Web Content Management System (WCMS) Support Team. The employee performs a complete range of information system analyst assignments including, but not limited to, designing, developing, testing, and implementing computer systems and applications supporting the enterprise WCMS environment for all executive branch SOM agencies.
The IT Business System Administrator performs system configuration, user administration, software deployment, and technical troubleshooting under the guidance of senior team members. The employee conducts research and analysis to provide technical architecture knowledge as it relates to the integration of systems, security, middleware, database design, hardware/server and tools, IT projects, business and technical requirement sessions, and system implementation. This position works closely with the Solution Architect to assist with the development and maintenance of system-level architecture components and the design repositories, as well as supporting projects related to architecture component design and development across multiple platforms, including but not limited to public cloud platform offerings (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).

Position Location: This position is located in Lansing, MI. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week (subject to change).

This role requires someone who can think critically, follow established methodologies, and contribute to system testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of enterprise-level architectures and applications.
