Orica is a leading global supplier of commercial explosives and innovative blasting systems serving the mining, quarrying, oil and gas, and construction sectors. We are seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team in Kaukauna, WI. In this role, you will operate commercial vehicles to transport explosive products, blasting accessories, and related materials to mine sites, quarries, and customer locations in the region, primarily on a Monday schedule, with a $4,500 signing bonus available for qualified candidates. As a CDL Class B Driver at Orica, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant loading, securing, transport, and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, following all DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and company safety regulations. You will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation, and proactively report any maintenance or safety issues. Working closely with dispatchers, plant personnel, and on-site mine and quarry teams, you will help coordinate efficient routes, respond to changing operational needs, and ensure excellent customer service at every delivery. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and adherence to strict procedures given the nature of our products and the mining and quarrying environments we serve. You will regularly work in field/on-site conditions at mine pits, quarries, and remote locations, which may involve exposure to varying weather, uneven terrain, and active heavy equipment operations. You will participate in safety meetings, training, and toolbox talks, actively contribute to hazard identification and risk mitigation, and follow Orica’s life-saving rules and safety management systems.
