Our client, a leading investment management firm, is hiring an Internal Auditor! Strong communication skills are key in this role as you'll be collaborating across many different departments and teams. This is not a SOX role, so if you are more excited by operational processes and finding practical solutions to enhance efficiency to an organization, this role may be for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders, process owners, and other stakeholders to understand operational challenges, communicate audit objectives, and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Lead and execute audit fieldwork, conducting interviews, reviewing documentation, and performing testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Identify and assess key risks and control deficiencies within operational areas.
  • Document audit findings, including root causes and recommendations for improvement, in clear and concise audit reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, internal audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements throughout the audit process, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of audit experience from public accounting assurance or internal audit.
  • Knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and controls and identify practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and build positive working relationships.
