Position Overview
This internship position is for an Olympic Sports Equipment Intern in the Athletics‑Equipment Management department at the University of Georgia. The internship lasts one year and may be renewed by the department.
Responsibilities- Assist the Equipment staff in the daily operations of the Stegeman Coliseum Equipment Room.
- Receive all freight and equipment delivered to Stegeman Coliseum and notify staff of delivered items.
- Assist with laundry operations for all Olympic sports.
- Assist full‑time equipment staff in maintaining records of all equipment and inventory.
- Under guidance of equipment staff, assist with issuing apparel to athletic teams, coaches, and support staff.
