Overview
SEI is looking for a motivated individual to join the newly established Operational Risk Management - Methodology & Governance team as a Risk Analyst. The candidate will have an opportunity to build out the program to align with industry leading practices and regulatory frameworks for the enterprise.
What you will do- Assist in the development and maintenance of key risk methodology, such as: Key Business Process Identification; Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA); Issue & Event Management Guidance; Control Documentation, Standards & Testing; Risk Ranking Methodology; Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) tooling.
- Partner with one or more business areas to: Identify & Assess Risk.
- Analyze business processes to identify potential operational risks.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of various risks.
- Monitor emerging risks (e.g., regulatory changes, market trends, or technological disruptions).
- Develop and maintain risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs).
- Monitor & Report on Risk: Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) to track operational risk metrics.
- Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing risk exposures, trends, and incidents for senior management.
- Investigate and report operational risk events, including root cause analysis.
- Track and follow up on risk mitigation actions.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with financial regulations.
- Proficiency in risk management software and data analysis tools.
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Preference in accounting, finance or business related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while employing integrity and sound business decisions to solve problems and implement solutions.
