Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a campus of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Project Manager in Population and Public Health to work directly with the Greaux Healthy Program, a new prevention and treatment initiative aimed at combating childhood obesity.
Job Responsibilities- Manage multiple awarded projects post‑award, including tracking project milestones and budgetary spending.
- Assist with project startup/pre‑award with administrative team (forms, budgets, key personnel, meetings, training).
- Report project progress to the Greaux Healthy Director, Advisory Board, and others as necessary.
- Report issues and plan corrective action with the project lead.
- Assist with regulatory/IRB submissions.
- Assist in writing grant applications and contributing to support documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a health science field.
- Previous research experience as a study coordinator or research support staff.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Proficient writing skills to assist and execute reports to leadership.
- Master's degree in a health science field.
- Experience managing research studies.
