Engagement Type: W2 Contract (Potential Temp-to-Hire) - Without Sponsorship or C2C

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility Required Across Time Zones)

Assignment Duration: Long-term (6 to 12 Months)

Position Overview:

A skilled and detail-oriented GIS Analyst is needed to support GIS data maintenance activities for public safety applications. The role includes software installation, data creation and manipulation, scripting, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and client resources. The selected candidate will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle and will provide regular updates based on evolving customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise).
• Develop and manage GIS models and Python scripts.
• Perform data creation, transformation, and maintenance using geospatial tools.
• Provide first-line GIS support and serve as a liaison between internal and external teams.
• Execute GIS configurations remotely and potentially on-site as needed.
• Coordinate project information between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Document work progress and complete required reporting in line with project standards.
• Deliver training sessions using various instructional formats (e.g., PowerPoint, live demos).
• Maintain multiple project timelines and meet deadlines consistently.
• Uphold data integrity and adhere to quality standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in GIS roles.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial principles and cartographic mapping in public safety contexts.
• ArcGIS Desktop
• ArcGIS Pro
• ArcGIS Enterprise
• ArcGIS Online
• Cached mapping services
• Familiarity with public safety GIS applications (preferred).
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong commitment to accuracy, data quality, and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in general office software (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel when needed.
• Fully remote, U.S.-based role.
