What you'll be doing day to day
  • Prepare and maintain menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately.
  • Maintain equipment operation and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Keep supplies—dishes, silverware, utensils—clean and stocked.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  • Oversee merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and sanitization of sampling equipment.
  • Ensure accurate price communication across digital platforms and physical points of sale.
  • Maintain supply rotation using FIFO and expiration dates.
  • Implement IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and inventory.
  • Report safety, hygiene, and sanitation concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Experience in a high‑volume customer‑facing environment preferred.
  • Experience in a high‑volume retail environment with basic merchandising knowledge preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment.
Pay & Hours

Pay range: $17.58–$24.83 per hour.

Part‑time (12–19 hrs/wk).

Shift options:

  • Option 1 – Wednesday & Friday 7:00 am–1:30 pm, with open availability on Saturday & Sunday 7 am–10 pm.
  • Option 2 – Tuesday & Thursday 3:00 pm–9:30 pm, with open availability on Saturday & Sunday 7 am–10 pm.
