**Job Summary** The Operations Supervisor is a critical leadership role within power generation facilities, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous electrical energy production. This position requires strong technical expertise, supervisory experience, a high level of safety awareness, and the ability to manage complex operational challenges in varied conditions. The supervisor plays a key role in optimizing plant performance, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities** **Required Skills and Qualifications** Strong knowledge of heavy industrial equipment, systems, and control technologies.Demonstrated ability to manage personnel effectively, resolve conflicts, research and conduct grievance hearings, and interpret and apply company and union contracts. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and coordinate teams while fostering collaboration and accountability. Ability to analyze operational data, evaluate processes, and make sound decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff, management, and external regulatory agencies.Ability to work a 7x7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.**Preferred (Additional) Qualifications** Technical proficiency with operational software and systems, including Emerson Ovation, GE Mark VIe, and SAP work and asset management systems.Previous experience leading represented employees.Strong knowledge of power generation equipment, systems, and control technologies.
