Desktop Support Technician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview
This role supports one of our largest and most well-known clients in a corporate onsite environment. The Level 3 Technician will be responsible for advanced technical support, asset management, and ensuring a high level of service for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure operating systems on client laptops
- Migrate user data to new devices
- Provide advanced break/fix support for hardware and software issues
- Manage and update tickets within the client's ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Process returned assets from offboarding employees
- Maintain clean, organized storage and distribution of inventory assets
- Prepare equipment for redeployment or e-waste disposal
- Perform daily inventory tracking and updates using asset management tools
- Load balance equipment across client and non-client sites
- Load and unload assets into lockers
- Clean, test, and redeploy used systems
- Communicate with clients regarding asset pickup and return (email, phone, IM)
- Pick up surplus equipment from users as needed
- Assist with inventory audits
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Drug and Background screening
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs independently
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, crawl, and kneel for extended periods
- Steel toes
- Technical certifications are a plus
