The Advanced Solutions team within the Data & AI Enablement Org is seeking an AI/ML Full Stack engineer or an accomplished full stack engineer looking to grow into an AI/ML engineer, to support the AI Strategy Acceleration portfolio. Teams within the portfolio focus on standardized agentic development, and ontology generation that enables semantic data discovery, reasoning, and information retrieval.
The AI Strategy Acceleration Portfolio provides solutions and capabilities that underpin all AI solutions within the Advanced Solutions Division. In addition to tackling development work the team will conduct experimental work for the exploration of cutting‑edge technologies. In this role, you will work closely with a team of experts in AI, software engineering, and systems development. You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support the organization’s goals and objectives. You will develop solutions that inform data‑driven decision making and help the organization stay ahead of the curve. You will architect, deploy, and support enterprise‑scaled services hosted on Cloud and on‑premise technologies. Basic Qualifications- Proven full‑stack software development experience with advanced Python (proficient to mentor others and review code), proficiency in at least two other programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Go), and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular).
- Ability to design and validate knowledge graphs based on ontologies and integrate graph data into applications, with experience handling the entire lifecycle of an AI‑powered application.
- Experience with LLMs/Generative AI and Cloud Infrastructure with GitOps.
- Demonstrated experience with API design and specifications (REST/OpenAPI, JSON/JSON‑Schema), including building and managing APIs and back‑end systems.
- US Citizenship is required due to program requirements and system access, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).
- Proven experience maintaining/managing GitHub/GitLab projects with multiple developers on it.
- Experience with strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants.
- Experienced in designing and validating knowledge graphs (KG) based on ontologies and the integration of graph data into applications. Experience with KG adjacent tools and technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL, SPARQL, Ontop).
- Expertise with agent development using various agentic tools and standard agentic frameworks (CrewAI, Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, AWS Strands).
- Expertise with autonomous workflows, Agentic devOps, and the Agentic development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services, Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, Amazon Bedrock, EC2 instances, and S3 storage, for building, deploying and scaling applications.
- Expertise setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Kubernetes/OpenShift pipelines) with background deploying/using Terraform/Ansible.
- Data engineering experience.
- Experience with production‑level LLM Tool‑Calling workflows.
- Expert Design and delivery experience in API Development & Integration (REST, GraphQL, etc).
- Expertise and strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional stakeholder experience.
- Understanding of Lockheed Martin’s Business Area(s) – solid understanding of that area’s end‑to‑end business processes and supporting data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field.

Work RemotelyFull‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work SchedulesLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for this Position4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Pay RatesCalifornia, Massachusetts, and New York (major metropolitan areas): $152,900 – $264,960 per year.
Other states: $132,900 – $234,370 per year.
