Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Analyze new and existing business systems to determine proper software & data solutions
- Create new, proficient applications that solve business issues
- Implement modifications to existing applications to fix errors, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces
- Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as: program functions, input/output requirements, data acquisition, and system controls
- Create and maintain application and process documentation
- Work collaboratively with customers to ensure business needs are met

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or technical equivalent (i.e. Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or similar)
- Experience working with SQL and procedural SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc)
- Experience with relational database design
- Experience in scripting and compiled languages such as Java, Python, VB.net, PowerShell, BASH, batch scripts, etc.
- Knowledge of web design concepts, such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Must excel at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
- Certifications in Oracle DB SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Other applicable IT certifications
- Experience with Oracle Apex and Oracle ERP / E-Business Suite
- Experience working with Microsoft Server, UNIX/LINUX, Solaris
- Experience with Git version control (gitlab, github, bitbucket)
- Familiarity with SPC analysis
- General understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
