As a Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the medical services team in a community mental health environment, ensuring high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented care across all clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of medical services teams across all clinical sites.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and procedures to ensure safe, effective care.
  • Provide direct and indirect consumer care on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of assigned staff.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health providers, case managers, and leadership to support care delivery.
  • Monitor and improve clinical quality metrics, documentation standards, and patient outcomes.
  • Manage inventory and administration of medications, including psychotropic and injectable treatments.
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance on crisis intervention protocols.
  • Support health equity initiatives and culturally responsive care practices.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, project management, problem‑solving, trust, integrity, communication, and performance‑measurement skills across the organization.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead by example to inspire trust and foster a positive team culture.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced team members, offering guidance and feedback for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence decision‑making to align with organizational goals.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or community‑based settings.
  • At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance required.
Compensation

Pay Range: $125,000–$145,000

Eligible for bilingual stipend of $250/month

Schedule

M‑F 8 am–5 pm
