POSITION AVAILABLE:School Social Worker or School Counselor
POSITION LOCATION:Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC), with placement at the ELC Marshall in Marshall, MN.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:School Social WorkerWorks with families and/or children that have emotional, social, personal or family issues that are interfering with achievement or personal well-being.
School CounselorResponsible for individual student counseling and group guidance functions by encouraging students to obtain the optimum in educational, vocational, and personal development.
QUALIFICATIONSSchool Social Worker• Bachelor's degree required.
• MN licensure as School Social Worker from Department of Education and MN Board of Social Work.
• Must have good organizational skills and ability to interact with multiple agencies.
• Master's degree required.
• Must be eligible for or hold MN licensure as School Counselor from Department of Education.
185-day contract for the 2026-2027 school year to begin on August 4, 2026.
• Bachelor's salary ranges from $54,477 to $74,870.
• Master's salary ranges from $64,965 to $96,796.
All dependent on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. This role includes benefits.
