Senior Fullstack Java Developer

Expected Duration: 4 months / 780 hours (4/20/26 - 8/31/26)
Location: Hybrid (3-remote, 2-onsite)-Candidates must be local to the Austin area.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to
- Refactor legacy systems into scalable microservices and build responsive Angular frontends for modern business applications.
- Develop secure Java backend services, REST APIs, and data integrations across SQL and NoSQL environments.
- Deploy and support cloud-native applications using containers, DevSecOps practices, and observability tools to improve reliability and maintainability.
- 8+ years of full software development lifecycle experience building enterprise applications from design through deployment and support.
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Angular, TypeScript, and Java backend technologies, including RESTful API design and integration.
- 8+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, containerization, cloud-native deployment, and DevSecOps-enabled development workflows.
- Experience with an HHS agency.
- Experience refactoring legacy monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Application Insights or Prometheus.
- Experience with feature flags, progressive delivery, Agile ceremonies, and peer review practices.
