We are currently seeking a full‑time Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team.

- Installs, connects, and adjusts thermostats, humidistats, and timers, using hand tools.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Joins pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form a complete circuit.
- Fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metal‑working tools and welding equipment.
- Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
- Disassembles systems and cleans and oils parts.
- Assembles, positions, and mounts heating or cooling equipment, following blueprints.
- Tests pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap‑and‑water solution.
- Installs auxiliary components to heating–cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, and stokers, following blueprints.
- Adjusts system controls to setting recommended by the manufacturer to balance the system, using hand tools.
- Inspects and tests the system to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect malfunctions.
- Discusses heating‑cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or verify that malfunctions have been corrected.
- Repairs and troubleshoots Chillers, Cooling Towers, and RTUs.
- Inspects inoperative equipment to locate the source of trouble.
- Studies blueprints to determine the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components.
- Lays out and connects electrical wiring between controls and equipment according to wiring diagram, using electrician's hand tools.
- Reassembles equipment and starts the unit to test operation.
- Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe or tubing, using pipefitter's tools.
- Cuts and drills holes in floors, walls, and roof to install equipment, using power saws and drills.
- High school education/G.E.D. with schooling in the trade industry.
- Universal CFC certification required.
- At least 4 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving machines and tools, including their design, use, benefits, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in a one‑on‑one setting to members of management and fellow employees.
- Ability to write legibly for form completion.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards/requirements.
- Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards/requirements.
- Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
- Ability to comprehend and carry out safety‑sensitive duties according to company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
$35 – $65 per hour depending upon experience.
