Cleanroom Cleaner Specialist

Employment Type: Part-Time, Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Compensation: $27-$30 per hour DOE
We're seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleanroom Cleaner to support our pharmaceutical cleanroom operations during evening hours. This role is essential to maintaining our facility's compliance with USP guidelines and internal SOPs. The ideal candidate will be precise, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in full PPE.
Training Schedule
Week One:
  • Wednesday: Gowning qualification and computer-based training, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Thursday: Monthly team cleaning during regular work hours, 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Week Two:
  • Monday to Thursday: One-on-One cleaning training, 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
Follow Cleaning Protocols
  • Adhere strictly to USP guidelines and internal SOPs for cleanroom sanitation.

Perform Routine and Intensive Cleaning
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, including surface cleaning and deep sanitation in cleanrooms.
  • Assist with general facility cleaning, including trash removal, floors, high-touch surfaces, and breakroom areas.
  • Rotate through warehouse, office, lobby, and breakroom cleanings as scheduled.

Gowning Compliance
  • Wear and manage PPE, such as shoe covers, hair nets, smocks, and full bunny suits, in accordance with cleanroom protocols.

Work Independently
  • Operate independently in a cleanroom environment, ensuring meticulous execution of cleaning procedures.

Maintain Cleanroom Standards
  • Ensure cleanliness is maintained at all times to meet regulatory and operational standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and compliance.
  • Comfortable working independently in full PPE and within a temperature-controlled cleanroom environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to strictly follow cleaning procedures and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in cleanroom maintenance, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or laboratory settings.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with regulated cleaning protocols in controlled environments.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand, crouch, and clean for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and bunny suit.
