Position SummaryThe Accounting Assistant is responsible for daily accounting operations of the organization. This includes a variety of clerical, administrative, and accounting tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, invoicing, AR, AP, and assisting with reporting to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s accounting functions.
We envision the right candidate for this role to have 0-3 years of accounting experience.
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesAccounting- Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Monthly and quarterly closings and journal entries
- Prepare for month end
- AP, AR, and bank reconciliation process
- Review bank & credit card balances
- Monitor and test internal controls
- Produce financial data to support the leadership team
- Backup to HR & Admin
- Supply Chain
- Purchasing & Inbound Logistics
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (QuickBooks, Odoo) and financial software
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

- Salary – $45-55k Dependent on Experience

- Health & Prescription Drug, Vision and Dental Insurance after (30) days of employment. LDI will cover 75% medical insurance expense for individuals and dependents. Vision insurance is 100% employer paid. Dental insurance is paid fully by the employee.
- You will be eligible for LDI’s incentive program beginning in 2026. Typically, bonuses range from 3%-10% of an employee’s annual salary. Bonus amounts are a factor of both company sales and margin.
- 401(k) with company match. You will be eligible to take part in LDI’s 401(k) program after (90) days of employment. LDI provides a Company match as follows: 100% match on the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions. Summary plan details will be provided to you.
- You will receive two (2) weeks of vacation annually. LDI also pays eligible employees for eleven (11) holiday days per year.
