Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. This role focuses on designing microservicesbased and eventdriven architectures while developing enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle.
Rate Range: $42/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Designs microservicesbased, serviceoriented, and eventdriven architectures to support scalable enterprise systems.
  • Develops BPM and enterprise applications across the full SDLC, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Builds backend services using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and integrates database logic with SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Deploys and manages applications on AWS and container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
  • Implements CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to streamline delivery and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Supports applications on servers like Tomcat and WebSphere while ensuring seamless operation across Windows, UNIX, and AIX environments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5-7 Years of Experience Required.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and integration technologies including JMS, MQ, and messaging frameworks.
  • Handson experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Git and deploying applications on Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $49.00 per hour
