Responsibilities
- Lead the church in spiritual growth and service to members and community.
- Communicate teaching of God’s Word clearly to the congregation.
- Encourage salvation and study of God’s Word.
- Serve in multiple capacities, including ministry outside the church.
- Support youth activities inside and outside the church.
- Meet biblical qualifications for a pastor as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1‑7.
- Believe in baptism by immersion only, after personal salvation.
- Graduate or seminary degree preferred.
- Support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
- Be easily approachable and able to communicate with members and visitors of all ages.
- Parsonage provided next to the church.
