Position: SharePoint Power Automate Developer/Administrator
Contract Length: 1 year (with two 6-month extension options)
Location: Remote with maybe occasional travel to Uniondale, NY
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Power Automate Developer/Administrator to support enterprise intranet and workflow automation initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions to enhance business processes and collaboration.
SharePoint Power Automate Developer/Administrator Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy SharePoint Online sites, including custom SPFx web parts using React and TypeScript
  • Develop and maintain intranet and collaboration sites aligned with governance and accessibility standards
  • Create and manage Power Automate workflows for process automation, approvals, and notifications
  • Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 and external systems via APIs and Microsoft Graph
  • Manage permissions, security groups, and identity integration using Azure AD (Entra ID)
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
  • Provide training, documentation, and user support for SharePoint and Power Automate tools
  • Lead project planning, tracking, and stakeholder communication
SharePoint Power Automate Developer/Administrator Qualifications
Required:
  • 10+ years of SharePoint development and administration (Online and Server)
  • 5+ years with SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
  • 5+ years building enterprise intranet solutions with strong UX/UI focus
  • 5+ years of Power Automate and Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Dataverse)
  • Strong API integration experience (REST, Microsoft Graph, PnP)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred:
  • Microsoft certifications (PL-400, MS-600, PL-100)
  • Extensive experience in end-user training and front-end customization
