Your Mission:
As a DevOps-focused Software Engineer, your mission is to build and sustain the automation, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines that power secure, scalable systems in a high-impact mission environment. You'll be responsible for container orchestration, full CI/CD lifecycle support, and infrastructure management in AWS—ensuring that development teams can deliver quickly, reliably, and securely.
You will excel in this role if:

You proactively troubleshoot and improve systems to support seamless delivery
You enjoy collaborating across engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance stability

A day in the Life:

Design, deploy, and manage Docker-based container environments
Oversee AWS HCI configuration, deployment, and resource management
Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting the full software development lifecycle
Apply infrastructure-as-code principles using Ansible, YAML, and Terraform
Support integration and automation efforts across DevOps and development teams

Must Have:

7+ years of relevant software or DevOps experience
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Experience with Docker and containerization
Experience managing AWS HCI environments
Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Proficiency in YAML
Proficiency in JSON
Experience using EC2 instances
Experience with Ansible
Experience with Java
Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript

Nice to Have:

Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
Knowledge of networking and load balancing fundamentals
Familiarity with TLS, SSL, and certificate management
Exposure to ELK stack for system monitoring and log analysis
Interest or experience in transitioning from Docker to Kubernetes clusters
