Travel Histotechnician / Histotechnologist (HT/HTL)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: $1500/week
Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Histotechnician/Histotechnologist (HT/HTL) to perform routine and advanced histology procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and experienced in high-volume lab settings.
Required Qualifications
- HT or HTL Certification (ASCP) – Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of histology experience (3 years preferred)
- Associate’s Degree – Preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tissue embedding and microtomy
- Conduct routine histology procedures with high accuracy
- Perform Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and special stains
- Utilize digital pathology systems
- Maintain proper specimen tracking and documentation
- Ensure compliance with lab safety and quality standards
- Operate and maintain histology equipment (Roche systems)
Lab & Equipment Details
- LIS/EMR: Epic Beaker
- Equipment: Roche platforms
- No phlebotomy or general lab duties required
- Focus strictly on histology functions
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Call: None
- Scheduling: Managed by leadership (no self-scheduling)
