About The Role

This is a great opportunity for a contract Developer, reporting to the Manager of Information Systems Programs, developing database-driven applications in a dynamic environment. Working with business analysts, senior developers, and end-users, finding reliable, scalable solutions using Oracle databases and Microsoft .NET technologies. In this hybrid role, you will work both off-site and onsite in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL code
• Use Stored procedures, functions, packages, or triggers
• Perform SQL queries and performance tuning
• Design applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF as applicable)
• Integrate .NET applications with Oracle databases
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Debug, test, and resolve application and database issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
• Help with application deployments and production support
• Collaborate with teams including QA, DBAs, and our users
• Document technical designs and application logic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or Equivalent professional experience or relevant technical training
• 1–5 years experience in application development (or equivalent coursework/projects)
• In-depth experience with PL/SQL and .NET development, C# and .NET Frameworks, or .NET Core
• 1-5 years of general development experience including:
• RESTful APIs
• ASP.NET MVC or Web APIs
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 1+ years of experience using Visual Studio
• Understanding of source control systems (Git, TFS, or similar)
• WebLogic Server/Administrator
• Oracle Forms or legacy systems
• Agile or Scrum environments
