About This RoleA1+ Care is currently hiring in the Seattle, WA area. Our company is dedicated to helping adults and children with developmental disabilities thrive and achieve their personal goals throughout Washington. The main purpose of this position is to prevent our clients from being institutionalized and support their independence in the community. Our current client-to-staff ratio in Seattle is 44.0:1, and we are looking to grow our team to provide the highest quality care and support. You will work one-on-one with adults with developmental disabilities to take them outside for social activity and help them develop meaningful community connections in Washington.
We have specific needs in the following areas:
- Community Activities Coach: 12 team members needed
- Developmental Disabilities Specialist: 1 team member needed

Schedule:

Work Location: In person, community-based services in Seattle, WA
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with team members and home care professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all company policies
- Transport clients to appointments and community activities
- Identify and facilitate participation in community activities based on client interests
- Help clients develop meaningful relationships within their community
- Support clients in learning how to access community resources independently
- Assist with social skills development in community settings
- Model appropriate social interactions and community navigation skills
- Encourage client decision-making and personal choice
- Provide positive reinforcement and support for community>
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Clean background check required
