The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide essential nursing care in a drug and alcohol treatment facility, specifically within the detox unit. Working closely as part of a multidisciplinary team, the LVN will focus on supporting patients through their withdrawal and recovery process by delivering compassionate and professional care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the detox unit
- Monitor self-administration of medications accurately and timely
- Monitor and record vital signs to assess patient health
- Document patient information and care activities thoroughly
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of nursing experience
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certificate or diploma
