The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Manage and support all manufacturing-specific software applications, such as MES and SCADA.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across the production floor.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues to ensure operational uptime.
- 3+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS).
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in a production setting.
- Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
- Experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing context (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
