Pay range: $19.96 - $26.41
SummaryTo supervise and participate in the daily working operations of a New Hampshire Retail Outlet Store, to ensure exceptional customer service satisfaction, maximize profits, and implement and follow all New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules and policies.
Your Experience CountsEach additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
Minimum QualificationsEducation/Experience: Equivalent combination of 2.5 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Must include at least 1 year in a supervisory position in a retail environment involving cash-handling.
License/Certification: Valid driver’s license
Other Requirements: Must be able to continuously lift material up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting of cases of alcohol weighing up to 60 pounds. Must be able to work a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities- Provides exceptional customer service by building a loyal customer base and strives for excellence when assisting customers to enhance customer relations and the reputation of the NH Liquor Commission and the State of New Hampshire.
- Acts as a store manager in a moderate volume retail environment or as an occasional manager in a large volume retail environment.
- Supervises staff up to the Retail Store Manager I level, schedules full and part‑time assignments, reviews work of store personnel for accuracy, evaluates personnel performance, and provides ongoing training regarding routine operations and work procedures.
- Monitors the movement of store inventory and periodically counts product to verify accuracy.
- Processes customer sales, verifies register sales, and makes bank deposits.
- Prepares and transmits regular and special reports covering sales, stock, deposits and other activities.
- Monitors and maintains customer relations by providing product knowledge, excellent customer service, clean stores, and adequate stock.
- Assumes responsibility for merchandising the retail sales area of the store to follow NH State Liquor Commission guidelines, including determinations on special merchandise displays while considering customer preference and demand.
- Assumes the responsibilities of subordinate employees when necessary.
- Is sometimes assigned to work in other stores, requiring travel to those locations.
