  • Highly collaborative, Jira-driven environment
  • Fast-moving enterprise transformation program
About the Role
Ford Motor Company is seeking a hands-on WorkForce Software (WFS) Configuration Lead to support the ATLAS program - a multi-year initiative modernizing workforce management for over 55,000 employees across the United States and Canada.
The primary need for this role is deep, hands-on WorkForce Software configuration expertise. While deployment and PMO experience are valuable, the team's immediate priority is someone who can solution, configure, and support the WFS platform in a complex enterprise environment.
This is a fast-moving, highly collaborative program requiring strong ownership and the ability to operate comfortably in ambiguity.
Program Overview
The ATLAS program is transforming timekeeping, scheduling, absence management, and workforce reporting across 65+ North American manufacturing facilities through a phased rollout approach.
The team operates in a high-governance environment with heavy Jira usage and aggressive delivery timelines.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide hands-on functional expertise across the WorkForce Software platform, including:

Program Governance & Collaboration
  • Maintain strong Jira hygiene and issue tracking
  • Support daily, weekly, and biweekly governance touchpoints
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Partner closely with the Program Manager, Technical Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders
Testing, Training & Stabilization
  • Support system and UAT testing cycles
  • Assist in improving testing efficiency
  • Develop or support end-user training materials
  • Help stabilize the platform post go-live
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Phase 2 operations

  • Hands-on WorkForce Software (WFS) configuration experience (required)
  • Direct configuration experience in one or more modules:
    • Time & Attendance

    • Reporting
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into WFS configuration
  • Experience supporting enterprise WFS deployments
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a tight-knit, high-performing team
  • Proactive approach - asks \"what's next\" rather than waiting for direction
Strongly Preferred
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • PMO or Jira governance experience
  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience
  • Union workforce rules exposure
  • Experience supporting large enterprise deployments (10,000+ employees)
  • Familiarity with Canadian labor/timekeeping regulations
