CONSULTANT SERVICES TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL STAFF
SCOPE OF WORK
Professional/Technical Title: (Associate Project Manager Level II - Mechanical)
Duration of Service Required: 52 Weeks
Normal Work Week: Monday through Friday
Hours of Work:
- Technical functions: 40%
- Administrative functions: 60%
- Field location: 0%
- Office location: 100%
- No Right of Waiver required
Description of Work:
Responsibilities- Work as Assistant to the Design Manager.
- Prepare minutes of meetings, budgets preview sheets, draft waiver requests.
- Coordinate with disciplines the technical comments on drawings and specifications from various stakeholders.
- Help prepare permit requests.
- Prepare documents to send to the printer.
- Help in the preparation of project bid documents and PowerPoint presentations.
- Track and manage submittals and approvals.
- Help in the preparation of project specifications (Division 1).
- Assist and/or represent DMO during the construction phase for various projects.
Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree Mechanical Engineering
Licensing Requirements: NYS PE License not mandatory
Special Skills/Training Requirements:
- Familiarity with design management or project management preferred.
- Familiarity with public sector projects preferred.
