ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities
- Daily Care & Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. This includes monitoring play, managing transitions between activities, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Emotional Support: Use your patience and kindness to help children navigate social interactions, share with peers, and manage their emotions through positive reinforcement.
- Routine Management: Maintain a consistent daily schedule, including healthy meal/snack times, nap schedules, and hygiene (diapering or assisting with potty training).
- Observation & Communication: Keep track of developmental milestones or behavioral changes and provide daily updates to parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress and day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience working with children.
- Temperament: You are genuinely patient and possess a kind soul. You understand that \"big emotions\" are just part of being small.
- Creativity: You’re ready to ditch the screens and get hands-on with arts, crafts, and imaginative play.
- Qualifications: A CDA (Child Development Associate) credential is a huge bonus, but it is not required for the right candidate!
