Job Description:
- 5 – 7+ years of experience in implementation and administration of Hadoop infrastructure
- Operational expertise in troubleshooting, understanding of system’s capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks
- Hands‑on experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Spark, Oozie
- Hadoop administration skills: experience working with MApr, HDP, Cloudera, or Ambari. (Please highlight this in your submission if you find suitable candidates)
- Exposure to setting up AD/LDAP/Kerberos authentication models
- Experience in shell scripting and exposure to Python
- Knowledge of troubleshooting core Java applications is a plus
- Exposure to real‑time execution engines like Spark, Storm, Kafka
- Well experienced with Linux systems
- Able to install, configure, and fine‑tune Mapr clusters
- Experienced with troubleshooting Hadoop application MapReduce jobs, Hive, Pig, HBase
- Experienced with leading big‑data admin team onsite/offshore
- Experienced with Hadoop upgrades and troubleshooting
