Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-based data platforms, automation, data governance, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration from multiple sources
- Design and maintain data warehouse structures ensuring data quality and consistency
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards
- Apply data protection measures such as masking, tokenization, and RBAC
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of large-scale data systems
- Develop automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
- Manage code deployments across environments including production and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams
- Experience building automated, cloud-based data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake, DBT Cloud, Qlik Replicate
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, SQS, SNS)
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL
- Experience with Airflow (Astronomer) and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub)
- Certification in relevant data or cloud technologies
