The Planet Group has partnered with a West Coast firm to locate a Senior IOS Engineer Senior iOS Engineer for a 100% remote contract role.

We are seeking a product-focused, fast-moving engineer to to help build and scale high-impact mobile experiences. And work with an established team.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance user-facing iOS applications used at scale
Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features end-to-end
Contribute across the full development lifecycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, and launch
Review code and technical designs, providing thoughtful feedback to improve quality and performance
Help shape engineering standards and best practices while supporting and mentoring other team members
Collaborate in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment focused on delivering meaningful user experiences

Required Skills/Experience:

6+ years of experience building native iOS applications using Swift
Experience working on medium-to-large scale applications in production environments
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation)
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering xywuqvp stakeholders
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote environment
Experience contributing to or leading initiatives across teams

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and HTTP fundamentals
Background in additional programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Rust
