Enstrom Helicopter Corporation designs and builds light, single-engine helicopters for personal, commercial, and government use. Known for safety and innovation, Enstrom helicopters feature a high-inertia rotor system, unblocked tail rotors, and industry-unique, patented internal control systems. Enstrom produces two piston models, the F28F and 280FX, and a turbine model, the 480B, which is equipped with the advanced Garmin G1000H integrated cockpit. Their helicopters are made in the USA at the Menominee, Michigan facility, and are backed by a robust support network and a passionate owner community. Enstrom is also developing a new TH180 training model, designed for safety and cost efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Menominee, MI. The Senior Human Resources Manager will oversee all facets of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training and development, and performance management. Key responsibilities involve developing and implementing HR strategies, cultivating a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and collaborating with leadership teams to align HR initiatives with the organization’s goals. The role requires hands‑on management of HR operations to support an evolving workforce.

Qualifications
  • In-depth experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
  • Expertise in HR compliance, labor law, and organizational policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering training programs and employee development initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and other HR management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience working in manufacturing or aviation industries is a plus
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
